To ensure the safety and equality of all members within our community, we have implemented a verification process for both users and homes. For user verification, we request a picture of you along with a government-issued ID.
Similarly, for home verification, we ask for a recent utility bill (such as internet or water) that displays the address, name, and date. This documentation ensures that the property listed on our platform is legitimate and accurately represented, providing peace of mind to both hosts and guests.
For safety reasons, all verification documentation provided by users, including photos and utility bills, will never be made public. Additionally, after verification, this information will be promptly removed from the profile.

Yes, you can add multiple homes. During the free trial period, you’re limited to adding just one home. However, after upgrading to the annual membership, you can add up to three homes! In a HomeCoin Swap, users can exchange their properties with one another using HomeCoins as a form of virtual currency.

There are multiple ways to earn HomeCoins. All members receive a specific amount of HomeCoins when they list their homes on the platform, with the quantity varying based on the property’s size, location, and amenities.
Additional HomeCoins can be obtained by daily login activities, or purchasing any of the available Points packages.
If you’re renting and considering participating in a home swap, it shouldn’t be a problem. Since no monetary exchange occurs, it’s akin to having friends over. However, it’s important for renters to check with their landlord and housing associations to ensure they’re not violating any rules or regulations regarding subletting or temporary guests.
MyHomeSwaps allows all users to set their own cancellation policies for swaps involving HomeCoins. This grants members the flexibility to determine whether, after a specified period, they will withhold points in the event of a cancellation.
In the case of mutual swaps, no predefined cancellation policy is in place, and it is the responsibility of the members to mutually agree upon the terms and conditions. Read more here!

When you make a payment, it is processed securely through an trusted payment provider such as STRIPE, ensuring that your sensitive information is handled with the utmost care and in compliance with industry-standard security protocols.
If the swap is made using HomeCoins, the cancellation choices will be determined by the cancellation policy. Regardless of whether you require or desire to cancel a swap, you can select the “Cancel” option in your profile. We recommend reaching out to the other member if you want to modify the reservation to agree on the modifications.
After an agreement is reached simply cancel the previous swap and initiate a new one. You can also reach out to us to assist you.

Nonetheless, we strongly advise all members to have both home and travel insurance. MyHomeSwaps does not provide insurance coverage for any theft or damages that may occur during a swap. On MyHomeSwaps memberships as well as any extra packages offered are not refundable even in the event of cancellation. However members have the opportunity to stop the renewal of the annual membership whenever they desire. However, users may still contact our support team if they wish to discuss the possibility of a HomeCoin specific refund in exceptional cases(see our Cancellation Policy).
The outcome of this request will be made solely by MyHomeSwaps’ discretion, meaning the final judgment lies solely with the organization.
