Photos: Feel free to select the photos that showcase your home’s beauty and amenities, highlighting what makes it unique.
Verification: Just like every profile on the platform, all properties undergo a thorough verification process.
Approval: Once your property receives approval, it will earn a number of HomeCoins and become visible on the platform.
Moving forward you will be able to pick what kind of swap you are interested in as highlighted above
Once you find a place that meets your criteria, initiate a conversation with the other member to discuss the specifics of the Swap.
This is the stage where you can ask about their home, agree on the dates, and decide on any additional terms such as the care of pets or plants or any special instructions for the home.
Depending on the type of Swap that you selected:
If it is a Mutual Swap then details will be exchanged between members (such as address, number, etc)
If it’s a HomeCoin Swap then an amount of HomeCoins from your account will also be transferred to the other member.
Ensure you’ve shared all necessary details with the other party. Both members will have access to the home addresses, and in the case of a HomeCoin swap, the appropriate transfer will occur.

Summary: Once you click on “Review HomeCoin Swap”, you’ll have access to a summary of the exchange, including the precise amount of HomeCoins you’ll receive upon Approval.
Transfer: Your HomeCoins will be credited or debited to your account, and you can easily track them in the menu.
Fees: The cleaning fee can still be requested and paid separately.
Cancellation: Any cancellation policies established before the swap will remain in effect. This ensures that if either party cancels the house exchange prematurely, the HomeCoins will be refunded. Read more here.
Summary: After you approve the mutual swap, both you and the other member will gain access to the trip details. In this type of swap, no HomeCoin amount will be exchanged.
Trip details: In the Trip details section, you will find the other member’s contact details, the location of the home, as well as any other shared information. Equivalent information will be made available to them as well.
Fees: Even though no HomeCoins will be exchanged the cleaning fee can still be requested and paid separately.
Cancellation: Cancellation policies are not enforced for this type of house exchange as we encourage members to effectively synchronize on the trip details.
